Cut Flowers

The cut flower gardens are a rolling celebration of the British seasons and a floral tapestry of colour.  Fragrant bulbs, ranunculus, buds and blossom signify the delicate notes of spring.  Blowsy peonies, old fashioned fragrant roses and perfumed sweet peas celebrate the heady scent of summer. Jewel coloured dahlias, sun loving zinnias, long lasting chrysanthemums and sumptuous berries mark the vibrancy of autumn, they carry us into and through the winter months. Scented herbs, textural grasses, perennial, biennial and annual flowers, and a multitude of foliage plants complete the yearly mix.

Flowers and foliage are available to buy from the garden from March to November. All our flowers are chosen and cut when they are at their very best and are fully conditioned before being arranged and styled in our flower studio. From November to March, British flowers are locally sourced wherever possible, if needs be, we buy from further afield.

The 2021 flower season has started and the garden is filled with the sound and sights of spring. Colourful tulips, delicate anemones, fragrant narcissi and beautiful ranunculus make up the floral mix in the bouquets and bunches for April into May. I’m delighted to be able to offer ‘flowers by post’ from the beginning of this month, please visit the shop to place an order and to find out more.
